Early Life and Education

Damilola Adegbite was born on May 18th, 1985, in Surulere, Lagos State, to a civil servant father and a teacher mother. She was born into a family of four. She had her primary and secondary education in Lagos state, where she attended Queen’s College, Yaba. She then continued on to Bowen University in Osun State, where she graduated with a degree in Business Administration.


Adegbite held the position of Vice President of the school theatrical society at Queen’s College Yaba from 2001 to 2002. She was also a member of her church drama club since she was a teenager.

Damilola Adegbite Career

The beautiful actress broke into the Nigerian entertainment scene in 2008 and has gone on to star in top Nigerian blockbuster films. She rose to fame after playing the role of Thelma Duke in the popular television soap opera called Tinsel. She also became an admired figure after playing the role of Kemi Williams in the popular movie, Flower Girl.


Since her debut, Adegbite has appeared in several television commercials and hosted programs on television. She also starred in the 2015 Nigerian psychological drama film, Heaven’s Hell alongside Femi Jacobs and OC Ukeje. She has worked with prominent entertainment stars like OC Ukeje, Beverly Naya, Meg Otanwa and Desmond Elliot to mention a few. 


Some of her popular movies include; Heaven’s Hell (2015), Flower Girl (2013), 6 Hours to Christmas (2010), Before 30 (2015 – present), Tinsel (2008–2012) and The V Monologues.

Personal Life

Damilola Adegbite was married for two years to Ghanaian actor Chris Attoh (from 2015 to 2017). Unfortunately, their marriage ended in 2012 amid rumors of infidelity and family feuds.
The couple met on these of Tinsel and began a romantic relationship from there. To the delight of their fans, they got engaged in 2014. They moved to Ghana less than a year after their engagement and married officially on February 14, 2015. The wedding was kept low-key, with mostly family and close friends in attendance.
The divorce of the couple sparked widespread speculation until it was finally confirmed in September 2017. Chris Attoh, on the other hand, revealed that despite their divorce, they are working together to devote more time to their son, Brian.

Net Worth

Damilola endorsed Instant Pickup Laundry Services in 2017. Recently, she also became a brand ambassador for a giant telecommunication network, Globacom. Her net worth is estimated at $300,000.
