In the state of Kano, the Kano Hisbah plans to arrange marriages for the Kano TikToker and support them in their business endeavors.
In an effort to re-establish their ethical standards, Hisbah on Monday, 6 November, invited TikToker and another prominent member of the group, Murja Ibrahim Kunya, to the Command for a possible rehabilitation session.
Sheikh Aminu Daurawa, Commander-General, Hisbah board, said, “The main objective of this meeting is to provide assistance to those who wish to receive assistance from governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.
Speaking while unveiling the scheme, Daueawa said:
We are willing to give you all the necessary support to live a sustainable life, those of you that have fiancees or are interested in marriage we promise to organize a grand wedding and take responsibility for all the expenses.
According to Sheikh Daurawa, any TikTok user in need of capital should submit a business plan to the board of directors of the Hisbah. If the board is satisfied with the plan, the government of Kano will provide capital to the user.
According to Daily Trust, Kunya sparked heated controversy after she was arrested by the policeover indecent behaviour and use of vulgar language on social media, particularly TikTok.
